We are a party of 4; parents, decathlete (son) and coach; arriving in Zurich Wed am 28th May. Purpose of trip is to attempt for Olympic qualification. We intend staying around Zurich (city or country) and visiting (spectate only) IAAF Decathlon meeting in Gotzis, Austria on the weekend 31st May and 1st June, leaving by road to compete in Arles in southern France on Monday 2nd June with an overnight stop at Lyon. Arles IAAF decathlon competition is on 7th & 8th June. Does anyone know of accomodations and athletic training faciliies close to each other where we can do light training sessions over this period. We are OK at Arles end. Also a vehicle hire place in Zurich for a small van for four people, luggage and roof racks for a 5m long container of pole vault poles. Return to Zurich on 12th June. We would appreciate any advice.
