We are spending a month in San Gimignana at our friends' farm house. I am sure there will be tons to do but what should we not miss?!!! We are renting a car from Florence. We love day trips. Golfing some... Eating yes, but not high end... Shopping yes, but with a budget! Any outlets etc.

We are Canadians and my dear husband is studying Italian like mad. He is getting pretty good. We do have French. I suppose everyone speaks English anyway.

Looking forward to this trip to celebrate 40 years of marriage!

We spent a week there in June and it was lovely. Our favourite thing was a days cooking class in Chianti at the Welcome Tuscany/Toscana Mia school, the two ladies who run the school are fantastic and the location is very pretty. Volterra and Siena are also definitely worth a visit. San Gimignano itself gets very busy, we tended to go in in the evenings when it was slightly easier to park and not so busy.
