My sister and I will be leaving Florence to stay in Impruneta. Should we rent a car in Florence or is there a place to rent a car outside of Forence (a train station)? Once we do get the car how do we where we need to be? We are looking for the least stressful way to reach our accomdations in Impruneta. Thanks so much for any information you could give us. Impruneta is just to the South of Florence City and around 20km(12miles). If you are afraid of driving out of Florence from the city center,then rent the car at the airport. From the aiport, it's quite easy and bypasses the city center to Impruneta. Have a look at www.viamichelin.com for the directions after you decide where you want to pick up the car. Impruneta is served by ATAF Florence city buses, CAP buses and possibly also by SITA buses - CAP and SITA are low stress. So depending on what you want to do once you're settled in, you could go to Impruneta by bus and ask your accommodation to pick you up and/or rent a car in Impruneta. Report as inappropriate | ||||||
