Scrovegni Chapel, March 25 |
|
We want to book tickets to see Scrovegni Chapel on March 25, and the website says in honor of saint's day admission is free. Is this a good day to go, will it be crowded, or should we wait until the next day? Will there be anything special that day worth seeing? Tickets can be booked online for 3/25 at the cost of one euro. Thank you to any locals who can answer this. |

If admission is free then likely to be plenty of people taking the opportunity. The Scrovegni Chapel is not large and will not accommodate many people so perhaps best to obtain a timed entry ticklet for another day if convenient.

Saint's day or not, for preservation reasons they will not admit more people at a time into the Scrov3gni Chapel than on any other day. I'd go for it.

Wow! Thanks for the quick responses. We decided to book March 26 because on the free admission day, each group might reach the 25 maximum, and we'd rather go in a smaller group if possible.
