I am going to a conference which will be in the historic city center area. Can anyone recommenda nice and not too expensive hotel near there, and preferably near transportation?

We stayed in the Hotel Igea http://www.hoteligea.it/index_eng.php, a few years ago. It was very nice and reasonably priced.

Suva55,where did you end up staying?did you happen to see Hotel Majestic Toscanelli? on the via Dell Arco..I'll be there in May..wondering about hotel,location,etc..thanks for any info. on Padova!

thanks,77..I actually checked out Toscanelli reviews and found the suva55 posters ' review for that hotel! I am relieved as that is where I'll be staying.so many hotels are not available for my dates! and it's early Feb.!good thing I started arrangements now.I hope suva55 reads this and will expand on her experience in Oct.'07..
