Tours of Vineyards between Vicenza and Verona |
|
We sill be staying a week in Stra, east of Padua in September. We would like to visit some of the vineyards for tours and tastings in the area. We will have a rental car and would simply like to visit some of the vineyards in the area without making a reservation or being with a large tour group. Would appreciate anyone's input. Thank you, |

I think that you can make a tour of prosecco area ( north of treviso ) and amarone area near verona to taste some good wines..... if you like white light wines choose prosecco ( simply perfect in these hot days ), instead if you like "important" red wines choose amarone and valpolicella area....... I'm not a great expert of amarone but I can say that this winery http://www.seregoalighieri.it/ is beautiful and have top quality products at brunello levels.... I remember, my girlfriend that is a sommelier from montalcino, bought there a lot of bottles...... instead I was drunk :-) | ||||||
