Hi

I will be in Genoa on Saturday next and its my wedding anniversary.

Which of the above would you recommend for an anniversary dinner and would booking be necessary / advisable?

Many thanks

Hello,

I would not go to Maria for an anniversary dinner.

Cantine Squarciafico is a beautiful place in an ancient building, but the cuisine is not great and the same is for Tre Merli at the Porto Antico.

My absolute favourite is La Bottega del Re, both for wonderful setting (especially in summer) and excellent cuisine. Check it out on their website (www.bottegadelre.it).

Have fun.

Many restaurants in Genoa are very pricey - if you don't mind that, then there is enough to choose from.
