We are going to La molina for a couple of days in March, our flight arrives at Girona at 1930 hrs. Is it o.k. to drive up to La Molina in the dark? We anticipate it will take 2hrs - 2 hrs 30mins. Is that correct? Thank you

In reply to my own question, the drive from Girona to La molina was a 2hr one with very windy hairpin roads. We were lucky there was no snow on the way in (temp was -7 degrees) but the night we arrived in La molina there was a huge dump of snow and we would have been in trouble as our hire company did not do snow chains. If you are attempting the same drive make sure your hire car has a bit of oomph! Ours was a 1.7 petrol and didn't quite have the guts for the journey!

Did you have a good trip though? It sounded great! Is La Molina in the pyrennean village? Is there still snow by June 1, 2008? I'm planning to go to the pyrenees then.
