I'm looking for a hotel/pension in S.S for two nights in early August. Everything seems fully booked and I'm a bit worried as I've tried many places by now. We'd like to enjoy the nightlife, so we'd like to stay in town.

I've found one place that has availability, but can't find anything about them on the internet. Place is called Pension San Telmo and they seem nice. They're located in calle San Juan.

Anyone has stayed there or know anything?

In case someone is looking to stay here - I can report that it's a good little pension with only 6 or 7 rooms. The lady running it is very nice and helpful. Location is excellent, although a little bit noisy - but that's expected when you're staying right in the centre.

It's a bit expensive, but it seems that prices in SS are quite high.

This is a great pension, central location, clean and reasonably priced considering san sebastian is quite expensive. The lady who runs it is called Teresa and she is lovely, speaks pretty good english and is helpful with directions and suggestions of where to go.

Highly recommend this place.
