Feb weather in the Costa del Sol |
|
What is the weather like in the Costa Del Sol area in February. Is it worth going or really too cold . I don't care about going in the water but want to be able to tour without a winter coat. Also are most "attractions" open? |
|
It's springtime in February (certainly compared to Northern Europe or New York!), but remember the weather can be changeable. Unless you're really unlucky you should get a few sunny days, and it's certainly not cold during the day, unless you're unlucky with the wind. You'll need a jumper or coat in the evenings though. In the year-round places such as Torremolinos most places are open (there are a lot of people from Northern Europe wintering here) and it's a great time to visit laces such as Seville and Granada as it's not too hot.

its pure luck in febuary...it can be 25 degrees and short weather or you may be in the middle of a monsoon

We went January 2007 and the weather was beautiful no need for anything other than a t shirt during the day. But as other posts who knows

The average temperatures will range from 9 to 18C. Malaga and the Costa del Sol have the best climate in Europe, especially for winter. That is why many northern Europeans spend fall and winter here, to escape the harsh weather in their countries. Most of the time, residents and visitors just use a short warm coat during winter. You see few people with long overcoats.
