Hello. I'd like to know how I can get to the football stadium (Oberweis Stadium?) once I arrive at the Koblenz train station. Is taxi the only option? Any idea on fare? Bus option?

I'd like to catch TuS koblenz play but it's proving to be difficult to buy tickets online for foreigners. Are they usually sold out? Is it possible to get same day walk-up tickets at the stadium? I'd like to go to the 15Feb. game.

Thanks for any help!

Did you mean Oberwerth Stadium? That's where TuS play. There is a direct bus from the train station. Journey time is just 10 minutes. It shouldn't cost more than €3 one-way. And the shuttle busses that run from 2 hours prior until 1 hour after the machtes are free with a Kombi-Ticket. For more info check www.kevag.de or www.vrminfo.de.

By the way, the stadium was called "American Stadium" until 1933, then "Hermann-Göring stadium" until 1945. In the post-war times it was called "Stade de Gaulle" and then Oberwerth Stadium.

There are however extra buses when there is a match.

> Is taxi the only option?

No. Never. You won't get a permission for such an event with so many visitors in Germany without any public transport possibilities.

> Any idea on fare?

With a match ticket: free

Otherwise EUR 2,25.

But best source would be to send a mail to
