The usual things on your to Do List should be:

Festung Ehrenbreitstein

Deutsches Eck, combined with a walk through the old part of town, seeing the old Rathaus and the Schengel Brunnen.

I would suggest seeing Schloss Stolzenfels, not far for a trip.

Mh, let me know how much time you have and I'll give you some hints.

I spent after all almost 8 years working over there in one of the biggest (the biggest?) Hotel ;)

but should you ever want the hotel Scholz, it's very friendly and pleasant, basic but comfy. I'd go back.

Thanks to all! We will be in Boppard for three overnights, then we'll go to Wiesbaden and spend one day there before flying home.

My husband was stationed at Wiesbaden, so that's a definite.
