Hi, Will be visiting Dusseldorf 24/8/08 till 27/9/08. Looking to stay at the Hotel Mitte, however on Expedia it says that it is a double room, but in the description it says 2 twin beds. Does anyone know what the bed arrangements will be?? We obviously need 2 single beds (not together tho). 2nd question, the bus that goes from Weeze airport to to Dusseldorf says it sops at the main station. By this do they mean the main railway station and do they mean a bus station. Thanks for all your help. Cheers Report as inappropriate |

2. the main railway station Hauptbahnhof (short Hbf) = main railway station ZOB (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof) = central bus station However with very few exceptions the ZOB is next to or close to the Hauptbahnhof in most German cities. Report as inappropriate | ||||||

I can't comment specifically on the beds in this hotel but its very common in German hotels that double beds are actually two large single beds pushed together and with seperate duvets. It's a bit strange if you haven't seen it before. But you can just pull them apart but don't be surprised if the cleaners push them together agin in the morning. Report as inappropriate | ||||||
