Hi

We are doing a trip from Mallorca to Rome on Air Berlin.We have 4 hours in Dusseldorf airport between the 2 flights.

I think we don`t have time enough to get the train from the airport to Dusseldorf main station and visit the centre town.It will be a good idea to go to Kaiserswerth insted of Dusseldorf Altstad?

Does anyone know how much time we need to reach Kaiserswerth by taxi and how much does it cost from the Airport?

Hi,

it will take about 10 min from the airport to Kaiserswerth and about 15 min to the Königsallee (main shopping area). It does not make a big difference since the airport is very close to the city.

It will cost you around 15-20 Euros oneway.

Kaiserswerth is rather relaxing - there is a nice beergarden next to the Rhine River (next to the ferry). So I would decide depending on the weather waht to do ...
