Hi

We're seasoned German Christmas market shoppers and also like a good variety of shops as well as the markets. What's it like in Frankfurt for this?

Thanks

Alli D

One of the best ..... we've done loads of different xmas markets for our annual girlie treat over the last 10 years and, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

We're actually going back again this year having done Dusseldorf, Koln and Essen recently. Also, the transport links are excellent for places like Wurzburg, Mainz, Stuttgart, etc.

One of our favourite trips is to go to Rothenburg on the Sunday .... granted it takes several hours and 3 trains but since all the shops are closed on a Sunday, it's a great way to pass the day. In addition, being the weekend, up to 5 of you can go for less than 40 euros if you pick the right trains.

Maybe we'll see you there (we'll be there from 10th-15th).
