Hi li realtor--we too are wondering how warm it will be in early Sept. on this cruise. Are u booked on the Amacello from Budapest to Prague?

We are wondering how warm the day time will be and would love to know if you have gotten any specific information from others who have traveled in these countries in the early weeks of September.

Day time highs are likely to be between 10-35C, that's quite a range and mostly likely near the center of it, and it's impossible to predict. The warmest highs in winter may be larger than the lowest highs in summer, so coming up with specific numbers is impossible. Just think layers for clothing any time of year. Oh, and it could rain.

Will let you know if I hear from Melinda. I think we just need to pack in layers and we should be fine, as it can be quite warm in early September--I notice that Amadeus has umbrellas in every cabin--so we should be covered for rain, which I hope we can avoid. What deck are u on? We are on Violin in the middle. Look forward to seeing you and your friends in September.

Robyn, As per all the posts, dressing in layers seems to be the way to go, although the seasons there seems to be like ours, and it could be warm. Where did you see the umbrellas in the cabins? I didn't know they supplied, but be optimistic that we won't need them. Our group has 6 cabins on the Cello Deck (mine is toward the rear) and we have one couple in our group that has a Jr. Suite on the Violin Deck. With only 150 passengers on boar, we are sure to meet. We'll be the loud New Yorkers :)

Greetings Paula--here is some info from a review a read, referencing umbrellas.

"In the bathroom we had a tub, shower and WC, along with sink and mirrored cupboard. Shower was excellent with a selection of different spray option including a separate hand-held shower head. Bathroom amenities are provided by xxxxxxx and include shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. They also provided a nail file, shower cap and facial pads. Gels and lotions were replaced as and when needed.

In the wardrobes were 2 bathrobes, 2 umbrellas, a safe, shoe shne kit, plenty of hangers and shelves. A hair dryer was also provided. They discourage the use of irons, however I used a small travel one with no problem."

So it looks pretty good for umbrellas!

Are you excited?? We are! Weather seems to be holding high 70's, low 80's. Our group has lost one couple, but 12 of us will be arriving in Budapest next Thursday. Looking forward to meeting you!
