You didn't say which B&B hotel in Aix. Most hotels are B&B.

I stayed in the b&b hotel in Aix. It is cheap, and yes it is clean but it is VERY basic. Also the rooms are quite small but as long as you don't intend to spend much time in your room it's fine. There is a bus stop outside the door if you need it. As far as I'm aware parking is free. It is a little bit outside the town but you said that you will have a car so in my opinion this hotel is fine, just dont expect it to be too fancy!!

Are you referring to the B&BHotel chain?

I haven't stayed in the one at Aix but use them frequently for overnight stops. They have always been safe and clean. There is usually a barrier or gate in place across the carpark overnight. You use your room keycode to get in or out during those hours. The bathrooms may seem rather small by US standards but are adequate.

On behalf of Wirralscouse and myself may I put in a small vote for Hotel le Mozart. WS and I have both stayed there and reviewed it on here, and it's very affordable and there is parking at the hotel. See our reviews esp WS's for comments re parking.
