Hello everyone. I'm an American (but don't hate me for it) from Seattle. On a trip to France last February, I stopped at the Auchan Hypermarket just outside of Cherbourg and bought a package of Lay's mustard chips. By the time I got out to my car, the package was gone and I had found a new favorite snack. www.pepsico.fr/html/marques/produit.php… I went back in and bought a whole case of chips and mailed them home to Seattle. It should be noted that these chips cannot be purchased here in the US. I'm now out of chips and am faced with the prospect of having to fly back to France to get more of these chips. I'd happily pay anyone to pick up and ship another case of these delicious chips to me here in Seattle. Any offers would be appreciated. Report as inappropriate |

Even stranger is that Petesmum's location is supposed to be Southampton England. Now it appears she has people from Seattle staying with her, 20 minutes from Cherbourg. Even stranger is that she has asked for feedback on a B&B on this site, which she spent most of August promoting and stranger still, THAT B&B is 20 minutes from Cherbourg!! ;) Report as inappropriate | ||||||

I don't think the post is strange at all. While in England several years ago, I discovered Walkers chips, which you can't get in the US . . . . I have ordered them from overseas and had people ship them to me as well. I personally think a forum like this is a great way to make connections and get info on lots of things and if that is chips, then great idea. BTW - hope you find your fix. We have just spent two weeks in NC and guess what my husband bought back 3 pks of Pringles different flavours so I am not surprised but did anyone send you any Mustard Pickled Crisps Stevenmatthew?
