Hi,

My boyfriend is hoping to do some family research in Caen soon, but will need the assistance of a English/French translater for a few hours. Can anyone suggest a resource in the area?

Can you specify what exactly you will be researching, if its Archive material I would think that there is someone at the University at Herouville St Clair student/or teacher in English but it is surprising how many historical sites do have information explained in French and English.

Yes that was the one I was thinking of they have a very good English Dept. and quite a few students who are on an English exchange - not sure what but am sure there would be information available. Good Luck
