Hi

I want to travel to normandy from the uk sometime next year. Can someone please tell me of a central location where I can visit the american cemetary and omaha beach.

Hi Fleetwood,

We stayed in Bayeux. Very central to the landing beaches and other D-Day sites. We stayed in a nice B&B - reasonably priced and a quiet, but central location. www.lecornu.fr

Bayeux is the preferred base by most. From Bayeux, it's no more than 30 minutes to American Cemetary and Omaha Beach.
