From Strasbourg to Paris the train is fast and convenient.

In Strasbourg you can walk around and see the medieval Cathedral etc one day and visit Colmar the next day.

If you're in Paris I wouldn't go to Bruges for a day trip. The trains are excellent, but it still takes up a big portion of the day travelling. With 2 days in Paris there are too many choices anyway with all the public parks and spaces (depending on the weather) and many museums (depending on your interests) to visit, plus all the shops.

If you really want to go to Bruges get train tickets from the French railways (www.voyages-sncf.com) and you can also get the ticket from Strasbourg to Paris here.

Have a good trip.

In Strasbourg you can take a great canal ride tour that shows the historic central area and then takes you out to the European Parliament area. It is a wonderful city to just walk around and enjoy.

Colmar is also lovely (a smaller, rural Strasbourg in a great wine area). Without a car, I would stick to Strasbourg.

As for Paris, two days will just be enough to see the main sights. Since time is of the essence, take a city tour and/or a canal tour. Go up the Eiffel tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Walk around the Seine and Ile Notre Dame. Take time to sit in a sidewalk cafe and watch the people, sights and scenes.
