From reading this, it looks like there are weekend tours through October and the hours begin at 8:30 a.m. with the last tour commencing at 4:15 p.m.

I saw this but I couldn't tell if it was open on Saturday and Sunday. Looks like it is 7 days a week.

No problem! I checked my Ireland at a Glimpse coupon book and they also say that the tours are offered daily through October. However, they show the last tour starting at 4 instead of 4:15. If you don't already have a 2 for 1 discount for the admission, you can get Ireland Visitor Discounts (http://www.cultureheritageireland.com/ - print free from internet or also available free in a pamphlet form at airport, hotels, etc. in the brochure rack) - I hate to pay full price!

The Waterford Crystal Factory does tours on weekends. Only thing to know is there is minimal staff there actually working and showing the glass making process. Most workers are off on weekends. The ones there on weekends are just for the tours. If you visited on a weekday the factory would be going full bore.
