I don't play golf but Iknow that the links golf course in Lahinch is very good.

Check out www.lahinchgolf.com

It is about an hours drive from Limerick, so I don't know if you would be interested in doing that.

For golfing in Limerick, check out www.limerickgolfclub.ie

Ballybunion is a similar distance from Limerick and Bill Clinton has played there too.

www.ballybuniongolfclub.ie

Limerick is estuarial therefore you will have to travel to the coast for the links courses.

Locally in addition to Limerick Golf Club but not links are Castletroy Golf Club www.golfeurope.com/clubs/castletroy/index.htm

and Shannon Golf Club www.shannongolfclub.ie

There also another in Adare and one in Doonbeg www.adaremanor.com

www.doonbeggolfclub.com/

You would best contact the clubs before you travel, to see whether you need to bring details of handicap etc.

Hi

A few good golf courses in the area, close to Limerick City you have a good course called Castletroy.

I would recommend Adare Manor, its c 12 miles away, but a fab course ( hosts the Irish open).

But do not miss Lahinch, its superb, one of the top 5 courses in the Country.

There is another course c 1 hour away called Doonbeg, designed by Greg Norman, I have not played it, but once again, rated very highly

Enjoy

Bergy
