Does anyone know - is there a place to rent a scooter (like a Vespa) in the town of Killarney?) Thanks. Report as inappropriate |

As far as I know the answer would be no. The only thing I could find was if you were going to the little hamlet of Killarney at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. Most tourists who do not wish to travel by car often rent bicycles to explore both parts of the National Park. Motorized vehicles are not permitted within the park and the town is small enough not to need one to work your way around it. Check out Report as inappropriate | ||||||

Hello Kdern, The roads in and artound Killarney are not suitable for Moped/Scooter travel unless you enjoy white knuckle. AFAIK you will not be able to hire a scooter. LimerickMed, you cannot hire a moped in Limerick. I can suggest places to purchase a moped. The most popular, biggest choice and keenest prices is Meskel Cycles on the Dublin Road. Franca the ULSU do a bike sale each year. I would suggest your daughter look into that possibly. You rarely see vespas out there. Most students either drive, cycle or use the frequent and reasonably priced busses. Report as inappropriate | ||||||
