Any recommendations for a nice restaurant/pub that serves a good hearty steak and guinness pie for example or some other pie?

We were in Dublin 2 yrs ago and enjoyed eating at O'Neals on Suffolk. They serve trad pub grub. Other places I have had recommended to me are The Duke and Davy Burns. All are within walking distance of Trinity College which is a great place to get a hot breakfast on the cheap at the Buttery. It's open to students and visitors.

We're going back again next week and can't wait! Last time we did a writer's pub crawl and this time it will be a music pub crawl. Lots of fun for 2 hrs.
