Will there be any matches taking place in Dublin this Friday 8/22, Saturday 8/23, or Sunday 8/24?

I would really love to see Gaelic Football or Hurling in person. I checked the GAA web site but I couldn't understand it, can anyone help?

Yes. Football semi-finals on Sunday.

See

The Championships are at an advanced stage so I doubt there will be many tickets around that are not already spoken for.

Why not watch it on the telly in a good pub?

You could always drive/bus out to Mullingar on Saturday and catch the Under 21 Hurling semi-final between Tipperary and Derry. I don't think there would be as much demand for those tickets.

Kerry are playing Cork on Sunday 24th in the All Ireland football semi-final.

Usually semi-finals don't sell out unless Dublin are involved, so there are still tickets available.

You can buy them on www.ticketmaster.ie, and they may be able to e-mail the tickets to you.

I'm not sure if you are already in Ireland.

If you are, then you could go into any ticketmaster outlet(usually music shops) around the country and buy your tickets.

There will probably be tickets available on the day somewhere around Croke Park(either in a kiosk or at one of the gates), but I am not sure about this.

You will have a great time, Croke Park is a fabulous stadium.

Go there early to soak up the atmosphere.

There will be a minor game on before the senior match and that should be quite entertaining as well.

Enjoy

I checked the weather, it is going to be partly cloudy with no rain, so I am hoping that is true!
