holiday-weather.com/blackpool/five-day-forec… forecast is not looking good. Rain I;m afraid. Click on link above to keep track.

A better more accurate forecast can be found in the main met office site www.metoffice.co.uk . This shows light rain showers during the day clearing by evening.Max temp is 15 centigrade which is mild for mid October. Check again on Friday when it is fully updated.

Never trust the British weather. Here in Blackpool the sun always shines.

If only ! Sadly you can expect rain one out of every three days in Blackpool, and if you are very unlucky three out of three ! The forecast is now not too bad for Saturday, although bring your brolly warly next week...

it was probably quicker to type 'blackpool weather' into google than type out that message... it was also probably quicker for me to ignore this than to respond.

where do you live kj5556 in Blackpool?. That's a load of rot, it rains one out of three days here in Blackpool!!!! I think not, the forecasters often get it wrong for Blackpool, there have been times when it was forecast for rain and we have basked in sunshine for days, while the rest of the Country had rain, sleet, snow and floods...
|
Its not a lot of rot-its fact...i dont mean consecutive days of course, but over a long period of time. How do i know this ? Well 1. i lived all of my childhood in Blackpool, and 2. i studied climate at university so i suspect i know a little more about the subject than the last two posters... I quote "its always sunny in Blackpool"... now that is rot im afraid, as any struggling hotelier will tell you, trying to survive in this low cost flight era to destinations where it IS sunny most of the time !

Before i get the inevitable riposte, could i just clarify what meteologists class as a "rainy day". It doesnt have to bucket down for hours non stop..if the local weather station measure a trace of rain thats all it needs. Blackpool does indeed have somewhat of a "micro climate" of its own, and believe me i love the place, but to suggest its some kind of sunny oasis immune to the rest of the British climate is utter rubbish.

All the times I have been to Blackpool it been more windy that anything else. There has been a few days of good sunshine and more days of rain but overall it has been windy.
