new president blackpool |

Hi there! Been looking around for new year accomadation with entertainment etc and been told that this hotel is good? but after reading the reviews on here i'm not sure!!! Can anyone help with what its like and has anyone one stayed at new year here?! Many thanks |
It's not the worst hotel in Blackpool but then it's not great either. Standard 'big hotel' poor service mixed with not the world's greatest rooms. Of course it depends how much you are paying. Not sure what entertainment you are seeking but The Cliffs (5 mins further away from town on the prom) is good. Don't goto the Metropole/Norbreck unless you watch to catch something nasty.
I'd recommend any of the Choice Hotels in Blackpool. Cliffs is North Shore, Claremont near North Pier and The Viking near South Pier. Viking does not allow children. If any of your party have walking difficulties, although the Viking has a lift there are a few flights of stairs (prob about 5/8 steps on some) on the landings. You need to book early though

sounds a bit like ''the lyndene''.(massive hotel on seafront, blue coloured) we stayed there a few years ago and paid quite a bit of money for the weekend.the place is huge but the bedrooms were tiny.as you opened the bedroom door....you nearly fell into the bathroom!!!it was a nightmare trying to get dressed for a night out coz you had to keep climbing across the beds to get to the mirror. the entertainment was terrible too! one place i will definatley never go back to!!
Sorry what have I missed?????? The president has been around for years don't think it was ever called the "lyndene" And no its not one of the better choices of hotels stick with the brands Hilton, savoy, cliffs, etc
I agree, avoid the New President if you can. Shop around, the cliffs and the hilton were places we stayed in on holidays to Blackpool. Some of the smaller hotels offer new year packages. If you want to be more than just a room number in a hotel, then go to Cliffs, Claremont, Carlton, Hilton. Wanting something more family orintated, then look at the smaller hotels, where you are greeted by name and made to feel like part of a group out to enjoy the festivities, then contact StayBlackpool on 01253 621891. They will have details of all hotels open for New Year and only deal with accredited establishments.
Anyone going here at new year time? I'v just phoned and they have one room left?!! Anyone been before at new year?
Gusto - You mean new president has only one room left?????
Yea they said they only have one room left!!
one room left????? I think the only one let If you ask for advise on TA why don't you take it.
If you want to enjoy a good new year, then I would not go to new president. As we have said before, contact stay blackpool, they will give you telephone numbers of great hotels offering new year packages. Telephone 01253 621891
