Very good news.

Travelodge must be very confident in Blackpool's future what with 3 major hotels opening up within the space of little over a year.

Especially so given how tough the current economic climate is.

Great that a company has such faith.

I heard that the Council are investing £35million into buying up guesthouses in Central to regenerate more housing for families. I suppose if that's true then having another Travelodge is not a bad thing. If the Council are not proposing what I have heard then how many more beds are needed to cater for Tourists coming to Blackpool?
