I wish to travel to Tours. To which French Port do I go to the catch a train to Tours?

Tours is reached by TGV from Paris, so any port that connects to Paris should do, eg Calais, Le Havre.

Seat61 is an excellent web site, explaining in great detail how to travel by train almost anywhere. Hope this helps.

check the eurostarsite, you might have to be fexible to get the best prices.

Eurostar / TGV is fastest route. Euston to St Pancras can be walked in around 10 minutes. You'd need to use the Paris Metro to change stations from Gare Du Nord to Gare Montparnasse.
