Any recommendations for cheap parking at Bristol Airport? Needed for 5 nights in January. Thanks.

Compared with the major airports, the costs of parking on site at Bristol airport are quite reasonable, particularly if you book on line.

However you may be able to get a reduction on these rates if you book through Easyjet parking at www.easyJet4parking.com (and I don't think that you have to be flying Easyjet to get the discount).

Some of the farms and pubs along the A38 on the approach to the airport used to offer cheap parking but I believe that the Council was trying to get these closed down as they didn't have planning permission

Thanks, we're flying with Easyjet and didn't think about their parking offer.

Chris

I drive by Bristol airport regularly and certainly as of last week, the large pub/restaurant just down the road from the main airport entrance on the A38 was still offering cheap long stay parking. I can't recall the name of the place but I'm sure a search on the web will pick it up for you.

Take a look here: £5 per day or £25 per week

www.parking4bristolairport.co.uk/parking.php

I have used them loads of times and very easy. They are literally one minute away from the roundabout entrance to the airport so really easy to find.

Have a great trip.

I can vouch for WCP (www.wcpbristolairportparking.com). They are about 5 minutes minibus shuttle away from the airport (and they come to pick you up quickly). They also do an airport pick-up/delivery service. They'll wash your car while you are away for a fiver!

A 5 day quote came up at £22.

Save yourself some money - DON'T GO TO WCP PARKING! On returning from our trip (a week and a half ago), we found that our car had been damaged. When we reported this to the man in the office, he was very abrupt and told us to email 'Dean' (the owner, apparently). We have emailed and telephoned him several times, but he has not responded to any of our emails, is never at the car park when we call and has not had the courtesy to reply to any of our messages. We are now going to have to take this matter further and it is going to end up costing us a lot more than if we had paid the extra few pounds and gone to the Silver Zone at Bristol Airport. So, as I said at the beginning, save money and DON'T GO THERE! You never know what you will come back to.

We always use Silver Zone at the airport. Book a month in advance and the cost is about £50 for 2 weeks. It is very secure with a regular 5 minute bus to the airport. We uses it every time.

We have used WCP parking 3 times now. They were approx 5 mins from airport but have since moved to a mushroom farm approx 15/20 mins away.

This evening we rang their office for collection @ 6.55pm and an answerphone was in operation. We left a message to be collected. A WCP minibus was at the airport and said we would need to wait for next bus in 15 mins. He rang through to the office on our behalf, stating we were waiting.

The next van to arrive said that she didnt have our names so we would have to wait for a further 15 mins!! We were there before other travellers and still we had to wait.

We waited 55 minutes to be collected!!!!! It was cold, dark and raining.

No apololgy was offered, just silence. Would we recommend WCP? - NO WAY, we would avoid this company in the future.

The guy in the office joked that our car was "a black astra - well it was" were his words. It was dark when we collected our car, we hope nothing untoward has happened to it, especially since reading the above post.

There were several other minbus services collecting passengers who did a return journey whilst we were waiting. We will be using one of these in future.
