Hi, i can highly reccomend a chain of italian restaurants in bristol and bath called bottlinos. Have been many many times and never yet had a bad meal. There is one in the city centre, one in Nailsea, one in Bath but the best without a doubt is the one at Emmersons Green, lovely food and atmosphere.

I'd definitely recommend San Carlo, good & central too. Apparently Strada is very good for a chain - at least, their pizzas are authentic I've heard. Good pizzas to be found at Numero Uno (Whiteladies) and Renato's (King St), which is also a very popular late night watering hole.

If you want to go a bit further than the centre and a bit more than just pizza then I would recommend http://www.casamiarestaurant.co.uk/

in westbury-on-trym.
