Are you on about Eastville Market? Fridays & Sundays I think. Haven't been for ages!!!

the market in Eastville just off the M32 behind ikea.

Went past the other sunday and it was very small and i definately would not think it would be travelling from Cardiff.

There is also the one at the fruit market which is on a sunday havent been there for years.

To be honest i dont think either of them are much good. I certainly would be disappointed if i travelled from bristol to cardiff to a market.

There is also St Nicholas Market which is in the center of town and is on every week day but i cant think there are any trainers in there. That is an indoor market with alternative gifts and foods.

Eastville used to be pretty large (I was a kid though, so maybe that's why!) but this was long before Ikea, so that is probably why it's scaled down. To be honest, that is the only market that would be selling shoes/jackets/sportswear etc; as Ali said, we have quite a few markets dotted around but mainly selling food, vintage clothing, jewellery and the like. Maybe you should just pop along to Master Shoe, they have the best price on trainers I find.
