I used to do that ride several times a year with Greyhound. The price is about 150$ CAD (this was 2 years ago though) Now I rent a car because the bus rides can be long and if you have the wrong people on your bus, the wait at customs is extremely long!!!

$150? Is that one way or return?

Return but like I said tht was 2 years ago.

Sometimes if you buy the tickets a few days in advance you can get a 2 for the price of 1 deal.

after fighting with the greyhoud.ca website for various trips, i phoned to complain and apparently when travelling to US or from US or whenever US is involved, you have to go to grehound.com to get fares and schedules.

they could EASILY indicate this instead of all the error messages. don't get me started.

Yeah, I got pretty upset too when I was trying to get an online price. Couldn't they just specify it at the beginning, before I spend 30 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong ? Whatever.

I went to Boston from Montreal in April and a night roundtrip was 160$ per person.

But my advice is: don't ride during the night. It's sooo long and you can't really sleep since the bus is really cold and you can't really lye your head on anything. Pretty upsetting, especially when there's a big gangsta in the back listening to loud hiphop music at 4AM...
