Hello, we're traveling to Montreal on Aug. 1-8 and staying at the Park Inn Suites Montreal Airport in St. Laurent. Has anyone stayed there and what is this town like? Also, what your experience with the weather at this time of year? Thanks. Verhie

Hi;

For a five day forecast for Montreal have a look at Environment Canada’s website.

Best Regards

I hope you are not planning on spending a lot of time in Montreal. It could take you an hour or more to drive there and then cost you $20 or more for parking. You would probably be better off taking the Metro Orange line from Du College, De la Savanne, or Namur. I don't know which ones might have parking or be easiest to get to, but someone on this board must know.

Unfortunately, you're not really "in town". Cote-de-Liesse is basically an industrial area, presumably with a lot of hotels due to easy access to the airport. The city of St-Laurent does have some nice restaurants along Décarie blvd. if I remember correctly, but if you're going to go there, you may as well come into Montreal where you'll have much more choice.
