I am heading to Montreal July 29 - August 3. The weather reports seem to be showing a lot of rain/thunderstorms. Can anyone there let me know if that has been the case? I'm hoping for a dry trip! Thanks!

Yes, historical weather reports are normally pretty reliable. We have been getting a lot of rain this year - it's caused by those warm fronts from the US :)

HAHAHA Platipus. that was good, from the US. My family in the US always insist that the bad weather comes form Canada because of the term "Noreaster". I'm glad someone is clearing this up. LOL.

Montrealkid, I think you mean "Alberta Clipper" or "Montreal Express" as we like to say, especially in winter.

Anyway, as for the weather, it can be warm and sticky and wet like here. Montreal, however, at least downtown has the convenient underground city and terrific metro which can keep you dry between some places.
