It depends what you are looking for. I assume that you know this restaurant is a hotel restaurant.

Foodwise you can do as well or better for less money. I think that if you go there, you really go for the grandiose decor and you pay a premium to be in that wonderful room. The sommelière, Élyse Lambert is excellent and very pleasant.

The room is quite large and has high ceilings, so you will not get a cozy feeling. If you want more privacy, you should request one of the alcoves on the side of the restaurant. You should request this in advance as there are not many of them. The drawback of sitting in the alcove (it's the only word I can think of to describe it) is that you may find the cushions, etc. a bit less comfortable than a chair.

What would you recommend for that price or less,where the food is better, while still romantic. We are open to any types of restaurant.

I think it's a great choice - it's in a victorian house that's been refurbished. It's nice in the winter because it has a working fireplace.
