don't give up your quest just yet. I'd be really surprised if one or two hotels in the Falls didn't do an American Thanksgiving dinner for visitors.

However, if you're willing to be a little non-traditinal you can probably get a fantastic autumn-themed dinner from one of the many great restaurants in Niagara region. It may be best to think about going into the surrounding wine areas or the town of Niagara On The Lake or St. Catherines (Treadwell's in Port Dalhousie gets good reviews)

Chefs in Niagara have embraced the locovore movement-using only the freshest seaonal & local food products, and you'll get great local wine to go with it.

Our only semi-recent experience has been at the restaurant at Vineland Estates winery, but I'm sure others here can chime in with more up to date recommendations.

Mother nature seems to be in a kindly mood this weekend!

So many people ask Niagara questions on the Toronto forum that I just assumed you were planning on an excursion from Toronto. No need to jump down your throat about it, I say!
