Hi

Will this festival be on this year? If so when will the tickets go on sale?

All the web sites I go on with regards to this festival only mention the 2007 festival, nothing about 2008.

As we will be in Toronto in September we would love to see this.

No idea if it will be repeated; last year was already a repeat of the first year, due to its success. But so far, there has been no mention. Have you contacted Ontario Place directly? They would be the best folks to know, since it's their gig.

Hi Greystroke

Yes they are having the Festival. I purchased my tickets as part of a tour group. We are arriving in Canada next week. Any advice on best way to experience Lantern Festival? If you have more questions, I will email you on my return.

I just got back from Toronto and saw the Lanterns on Thursday night. They were so beautiful Well worth the admission charge. You can get a discount at the Chinese Cultural Center and you can also buy them online at their website. I didn't buy my tickets ahead of time and figured I would just pick them up at the cultural center. I didn't get a chance and ended up paying the $25.00 admission price instead of the $18.00 charge with the discount. I didn't mind as they were spectacular. Don't miss it.
