Child friendly restaurants |
|
I would have added this to the vegetarian restaurant thread, but I was worried that it would be too much of a hijacking. I'm looking for vegetarian-ish restaurants that are good for kids. I don't need Disney characters or anything, but there are some other things that can really help, such as a play corner or just a staff that likes children. I like Bo Kong, for example, and they like children, but the tables are jammed in there, and there's no space to walk around. I've mostly been there when it is empty, but on a recent crowded Saturday, it was a bit hard dealing with the fidgets. I know what people are saying about Naam, but their little outdoor area is a great place just to let kids look at the little garden. We're vegetarian, if that matters much. |

Being a vegetarian is barely "alternative" anymore and most restaurants have a reasonable selection of good vegetarian options on their menus. You would be safe I think to hit a "family" restaurant and choose vegetarian options. You don't mention the age of your child(ren), but two chains that we found worked for us when the kids were really little were White Spot (grilled cheese sandwiches and mac & cheese on the kids menu) or Boston Pizza (veg pizza and pasta options on the menu). | ||||||
