We are going to Vancouver for 4 nights 4th to 8th

July with our 4 year old son...

We are making are reservations late ..

We have two choices Pacific Palisades (suite with kichenette) for $1100. I hear the location is great.

Also the Fairmont Waterfront is offering a 4 nights

through expedia for $1000.

Which one is a better choice.

Thx

Based strictly on hotel and room quality, I would go with the Fairmont Waterfront. I can certainly see that having a suite and kitchenette would be nice with a 4 year old though. I just looked at recent TA reports for the Pacific Palisades and it sounds like some of the rooms really need renovating/updating and that's consistent with what I've heard as well.

I just had another thought--check to see if the Sutton Place has one of their 1 BR Grande Residence apts available.

I personally like the Fairmont better then the Pacific Palisades.. I have stayed at both, and although bother were very nice, I found the service and the rooms nicer at the Fairmont.

Definitely the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, fantastic restaurant downstairs too, try to get a room on a high floor with a view if possible too!!
