My feel good story about Cabo starts with this board. This April I was looking for transportation to and from the airport and saw some posts from translobo which were taken off due to the no advertising rules. I was leery to say the least. So I continued my search and then for some reason decided to e-mail the company. I was so impressed by the communication I booked with Arturo. We were so very happy with the service and his genuine caring. Got home and started recommending him to other travelers. WOW!! Word of mouth is very powerful and now I tell him he is Famous on TA!! He is so very grateful for all the folks who have used his services. I may have, in a small way, started this but Arturo is the one who has earned every single compliment, going out of his way to deliver a good time, with honesty and a great sense of humour!!

There are many hardworking people who deserve to be sucssesful. It's feels good to give them a hand when we can!!

It also feels good to have my next trip booked!!

Yippee!!

I have been visiting Cabo for ten ( + or - ) years. I have enjoyed each and every trip. I remember my first marlin, my first dorado my first tuna (150 lb). The great food and much more. But I must say my favorite feel good story about Cabo is when I brought 12 yr old daughter to Cabo this past July. She had seen pictures but she had never been south of the border. I witnessed her first; marlin, swim with dolphins, waverunner, scuba dive (thanks Traun) and the whole baja experience. Not only did I enjoy Cabo but I also got to enjoy Ramoth's presence, smile and overall glow of pleasure.

We enjoyed it so mush I am going to bring her back in Oct. for the tournament.

TIC TOK TIC TOC. Only 3 months to go. O wait, wrong calendar.

See you soon

My best is watching Lyndi (Tooley) and her cohorts headed out to the Colonies with all the goodies. It would be impossible to top that one.

I'm not emotionally equipped to go along. Maybe next year if I get enough tequila in me.....

I have a friend with the screen name "baitcast" who tells this story and swears that it is true. I don't know, but it is a good one.

"It was a beautiful night, a huge full moon as only a baja moon can be and bright as day, and I was taking a little swim maybe a bit to far for me but the water was warm and clear and life was good.

I've never been a strong swimmer and had no business being out this far but I just felt great, the strokes were coming easy and fatigue never entered my mind.

As I mentioned before the water was warm and OH so clear I could see.......OH MY GOD directly below me was a huge shape, a large fish, a BIG SHARK!!!!!

I couldn't catch my breath, my heart pounded, vomit was only a moment away but now the adrenalin started to kick in, swim for your life and that I did, really rolling now but I looked down and there he was only closer now. I started to yell, to who I don't know. Everytime I looked down he was closer, any minute now and I've had it.........WHAM he had my face. I've always thought to be eaten by a large shark had to be the worst way you could go...........But wait I'm still alive and all I have is sand in my eyes!

I beached myself swimming from my own shadow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Hands down, my feel good story is spending time at the Humane Society of Cabo this last May. It was a wonderful feeing, was able to social with the cats and dogs and even take some dogs out for walks.

The shelter is now a part of our yearly vacation activites from now on.

On my forst trip to Cabo last July my wife and I packed 10 shopping bags with crayons, coloring books, hair brushes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, underwear, slippers, tee shirts and shorts. Instead of travelling to the colonies we simply gave out the bags on our first evening in Cabo in the marina area.

Jorge, you are my hero. What a neat idea and it was probably a fun thing to do as well. Now instead of buying chiclets we could be giving out fun useful items.
