is it possible to do both in one day without being rushed?

if so, what order would be best? cenote then ruins, or vice versa?

what time would we (gf and I, mid 20s) need to depart or be at the starting attraction, if we are leaving from PDR?

ALSO, sorry if this have been brought up before, but are there discounts for people who have their own snorkel equipment and/or speak spanish :P , hehe

thanks!

alex

I saw a discount for Hidden Worlds on their site, but you have to book on the site.

You can do both. Do the ruins first...I forget when they open 8 or 9 am. You'll only be here for a couple of hours - it's a small site. Get some lunch in town (maybe Don Cafetos) then head to Hidden Worlds.

I absoultely agree 100% with Pepper. If you leave Playa Del Carmen at 7,30am you should arrive at the Tulum ruins around 8,30, best time to avoid tourists and the scorching sun. If you don't get a guide there, it only takes about an hour to see the site.
