We are planning our wedding for Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa. Is it okay to eat salmon or seafood there?

Yes. The seafood was very good and I never had any problems with any of the food at Dreams.

We tried almost every seafood offering they had. All the food we had was great! We also went one night into the village of Tulum to Charlies that had incredibly huge grilled shrimp!

I am curious as to why you would think you couldn't eat the seafood or anything else Dream's serves?

PS

Congrats!

I heard that the seafood in Mexico isn't good to eat, or is unsafe to eat.

CM-

The seafood in the entire coastal area is really what it is all about. Just ask for the catch of the day, and they probably mean within the last few hours!

Someone steered you way wrong. I think they were joking with you.

Fresh salmon won't happen, for the most part, (frozen or smoked -still great), but wait....you'll see. The shrimp is often from the Gulf area, but still fresh and good.

You will be very, very happy with the seafood.

I have a brilliant trip report in mind for you. Let me find it.

You have to try seafood if you come to this area! In the town there are various restaurants with good seafood, I like Don CAfeto on the avenue and last time somebody recommend us to try La Bamba jarocha, little local restaurant few meters from 7/11 and it was so good! very good price as well, however, if you would like to try something else then seafood, there is very good Argentinian steak house in the town called El pequeno Buenos Aires, th best meat in the town!yummy!
