Ok, so I'm reading these reviews on this budget hotel, and most of them seem to be pretty negative. I'm sure many of them come from high class folk who aren't happy unless they have a hotel that offers pedicures.. Bottom line, I'm paying rock bottom dollar and I expect what I pay for. (Only $40 bucks a night!) I'm poor as hell!! But has anybody ever stayed here? I know there is no elevator, and I can put up with a damp smell. We are only planning on sleeping there, as we have many plans for the 9 days we're spending down there. So what is your experience? Report as inappropriate |

I just talked to a guy I worked with who has also stayed there. He says that for the money, it much better then expected--He recommends it to anyone. What a small world. AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!! Report as inappropriate | ||||||

He didn't mention the drinks. I've read mixed reviews--but I'm from Utah--ANY drinks will be stronger then what I'm used to! But he said that the Imperial Las Perlas was an EXCELLENT budget motel. He claims that you don't get all the fancy stuff like you get at a 5 star but he says that it's really clean and it's ideal for people who plan to do alot of exploring--not hanging around the hotel, which is exactly what we plan on doing. hey thunderstar I just found a beer drinking contest @ the "Nice Shoes Lounge" in the Blue Bay Gateway. Which is pretty close to the Imperial Las Perlas! It is on Nov 14 and starts @ 10:30 PM. A beer drinking contest?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to attend, but I'd go down in the second round if I was to partake. I am from Utah, you know..beer tastes like water in these parts. But I'm always down for a battle!!!! Report as inappropriate | ||||||
