Wal-Mart downtown has a fair selection, but a store called The Cancun City Tobacco Shop in Plaza Safa on Ave Tulum #53(downtown Cancun) is suppose to have the real things and came reccomended.

Several people noted that many in the hotel zone are very expensive fakes!

try to bring a box or some bubble wrap for them. I usually bring bubble wrap and tape. I take them home in my carry on luggage or my purse.

We have found that the best place to get the real thing is believe it or not is at the airport upon arrival. We have had great luck there and you won't have to worry about authenticity. I think the prices downtown are to high and you never know what you are getting. My husband usually packs them in his gym shoes. smoke em if you got em!
