Are you referring to Xpu-Ha Palace in the PDC area?

I don't think so, the Sunquest site just said Beach and Jungle, but had no description.

As far as I know, it's only a 2* hotel but I don't really know anything else about it.

Check out the Colonial Grand Palladium Resort and Spa. We are going there this week and it looks like it will be just that -- beach and jungle. I'm excited to go and will let everyone know about it -- good or bad. It is south of Playa.

I'm glad to hear that. We are bringing our kids and this was one of the only resorts I could find that would let five in a room -- a junior suite. It is new and looks great, but we will see when I get there. Stayed at the Robinson Club (Club Maeva) last year. We are then going to Cancun to stay at the Marriott CasaMagna. Hope the beach is good there!!!

Check out the Freedom Paradise which is sometimes noted as "also known as Beach & Jungle". I too had difficulty finding out anything about the Beach and Jungle until I stumbled upon this Freedom Paradise. It seems to be a bunch of little resorts under one umbrella.

chandler - she said the beach is slightly rocky so it might be a good idea to take along some water shoes. however, this was over half a year ago so things could've improved by this time!
