My husband picks his vacation this week. Once picked it is written in stone. What weeks during the summer are best? Thanks.

Doesn't really matter WHEN you go to Cancun....just go! :-)

All three of those months are dreadfully humid....Nothing like you've ever experienced.

If you want to save some $$ - you will get better deals on hotels the last two weeks of August - also airfare generally dips then too. Going to Cancun in August doesn't differ dramatically from going in August. It's going to be hot - which I think is great. Makes lounging by the pool or at the beach feel great. Also the water temps during those months are warm.

I personally would go at the end of June....hurricane season usually kicks off end of July.

I agree with candylady! This isn't so bad when you are in the ocean/pool, but when going inland into the jungle to see some of the ruins it is almost unbearable!

we arrived 6/12 last year in a torrential storm. lucky for us that was the third consecutive day of rain for them and we awoke the next day to sunshine and heat for the next seven days.

I was curious myself about this. I have gone in the end of June and it rained terribly for one entire day and night and sunny the rest of my stay. The humidity is crazy I think in any of those months. I would prefer June of any of the months that you can go. Hopefully, I'll be able to go at that time as well. Good luck.

I have been twice in June and the weather is awesome, and I too would avoid any hurricane seasons!
