I am in Cancun 15-22Nov and I understand that the 20th is a National holiday for Mexico. Can we expect anything major to be happening in Cancun on that day? More importantly, will the bars, etc still be open?

This is the day that all the school children come out in the street and march around in a parade downtown. Very interesting to see. Don't laugh or point fingers because they take that stuff very serious down there as you would back home for your celebrations. As for clubs and bars, they will be open.
