You get specific premium floors, electronic newspapers, call brands on booze, allowed to do sit down meals each nite if space available, execuitve check in, late checkout if it can be worked out, plasma tv, CD, DVD and MP3 player, wireless telephone, premium amenties, snacks in the room, local calls, beach bag and free internet. Think that is about it...

Hi I am returning to the Barcelo, November 1st most of the rooms are great oceanviews there. I really don't think the upgrade is worth the money. the serivce at the Barcelo is very good in my opinion, all rooms have coffee pots mini friges stocked with beer and water and pop.

I would for go the upgrade and spend the money on the wonderful restaurant's in Ixtapa, and Zihuat. The proprietor's really need and appreciate the business. please feel free to email me here if you have any other questions. I love this area of Mexico and travel at least once a quarter.
